This looks like it was taken through a peephole. Where’s the rest of the hemisphere?

This is not an “image taken of Earth”. This is a mosaic of many individual images projected on a sphere and rendered in a 3D graphics program.

Okay, sure… but still a picture as pretty much many images posted here of Saturn and Jupiter are composites. Just because the images were stitched together by a computer doesn’t make it false. It is still made up entirely of real images.
