Pluto Fan Club
A nice page on the Oliebollen site that offers a “Pluto Fan Club” to kids and adults who care enough to step up to bat for the little dwarf. The protest culminates in a Facebook page where you can join other dissenting opinions online. There is also this children’s activity for a Solar System mobile which I have seen first-hand.

Kudos to the organizers–this is terrific, a chance for kids to lend their voices to the cause of reinstating Pluto’s planet status. It’s great knowing there are people making sure that everyone, child and adult, gets the chance to learn about the planet Pluto and know that there are many people around the world, including professional astronomers, who still view Pluto as a planet.

Thanks so much for the nice post! Its great to find fun & interesting sites like Wanderingspace.net!
One correction - the link you provide to the mobile project takes you to a different one. The project for kids that we offer can be downloaded from the page http://www.oliebollen.com/funstuff/index.html
Thanks again!!!

Great Page.
Being from Pluto it’s really refreshing to know that some earthlings are with us! We are really upset about the arrogant decision of your Scientists and governments to demote us.
As far as were concerned Earth is a Minor Planet! (call that an orbit!) and ask anyone from Neptune (last time I was there, hardly anyone knew where earth was!) Anyway thanks for your support.
