Another “Color” View of Rhea
Just as with the previous color image of Rhea, the same process was used to create this view of Rhea against Saturn.
This image was added to a set of images posted later as it was taken as part of the same approach as the others.

did i do that right? i mean IR1 isn’r really red and VIO isn’t really blue. these are “false color” by definition no?

It’s not “false” as much as “near-true” color. Rhea is a pretty bland body so it looks similar even in this slightly expanded wavelength range, Saturn is probably the one where you’d have to slightly tweak or mix the channels to make it more realistic, if you really wanted to nitpick. It doesn’t look unrealistic even now, in fact if I didn’t know you used IR1/GRN/VIO filters, I could believe it was a regular RED/GRN/BL1 shot.
